Halloween is coming!

Well how many Halloween products have you spotted in your local stores lately?  I haven't seen the full blown transition from "back to school" to Halloween yet, but here are some little things I've seen in stores around my area.

The Boo Crew? Haha, is that a scarecrow in the crew or a Wolfman?

Every year I've seen that play-doh stuff go on sale, but I've never seen anyone actually give it out. Does anyone buy it?

It appears to be a trendy scarecrow or as Hershey's would probably call it an Xtreme scarecrow DUDE. I hate the new "cool" lingo in case you couldn't tell.

I'm so excited for Halloween it's my favorite time of the year. I haven't seen a lot of Halloween stuff at my work yet (I work in retail) but they do have a few baby costumes out.

Starting to see a lot of Halloween candy appear. The wrappers are often more enjoyable than the candy itself.

I'm with you, Halloweenman666. Or should I say H'man666? The way they try to make stuff look "cool" for younger generations just often makes it look more dorky than anything. It's obnoxious. That said, I haven't seen too much hitting the shelves at my local stores. Some stuff, but not enough. However, at the local party supply store yesterday, they were unfurling giant "Halloween Store" banners. Be still my beating heart.

I love going into the supermarket now and being surprised by these kind of displays. Definitely a great time of year.
