IDk thats a hard one, but I'd have to keep it original and go "with "Bloody Mary", no matter how old you are there is still a small peice of you that is still too scared to say that name

Bloody Mary is definitely a scary one, I'm gonna go with the escaped convict with the hook on your car door handle though. Still freaks me out to this day.

Hook that is one of the most impressive sites I've seen in a while. Is it really an urban legend or based off of semi-truths? Have you ever been to the house? I would love to do an overnight, that would be amazing to do! Also the virtual tour is one of the most impressive uses of digital tech on a website that I've ever seen!

I might contact them and ask if I can do a full write up on my blog about the website and the house itself!

Oh, I love that book cover! I knew instantly what story that was. The guy with the hook is an urban legend classic. :)

I guess the urban legend (if you can call it that) that scared me the most is the story about the girl who thought she had a zit, but it turned out to be a bunch of spider eggs under her skin. They eventually hatch, and burst out of her skin. Yuck. Any time I get a bug bite, I think of that story...

HAHA I remember my old babysitter used to tell me that a girl in her high school had that happen to her. Remember that story in "Scary Stories to tell in the dark"?

I'd definitely wanna hit this one up, sounds absolutely insane. Only problem is, I looked up the overnight stay rate and it's like 400 bucks so we'd have to get the max of like 10 people which is what they allow, that way it's cheaper per person. But I'm in!

Hey Jennyy I was just checking out the Devil's tramping ground and it is quite creepy. I actually found it on google earth as well and you can actually kind of see the circle that they are talking about. Awesome blog by the way, do you have a followers tab cause I couldn't find one?

Nice babysitter. :) I think everyone in High School heard that it had happened to someone! Although, I guess it's that way with all urban legends. Yes, that story is from the "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" series. I remember the illustration that went with it being horrifying, although I just googled it and it's not at all scary now! There's probably a whole generation of us that was traumatized by that one...

oh yeah, the one that absolutely creeped me out the most was the one where the person was watching from the upstairs window as the cat people pull up in the hearse to take the body from the 1st floor. Sounds ridiculous but it was absolutely horrifying. I'm off to google the title of it now.

Spider Bite or The Red Spot: In other versions, a young girl is asleep while a spider crawls across her face and rests on her cheek for a few moments. The next morning, she asks her mother about the red spot on her cheek and the mother responds, "It looks like a spider bite. It will go away, just don't scratch it." As time passes, the spot grows into a small boil. She confronts her mother again and complains that it is getting larger and that it's sore. The mother replies, "That happens sometimes, it's coming to a head." More days pass and the girl complains that it hurts and is unsightly. Finally concerned that it might be infected, the mother agrees to take her to a doctor, but he is not available until the next day. In order to soothe herself that evening, the girl takes a bath. As she soaks, the boil to bursts and releases a swarm of baby spiders into the water from the eggs that the mother had laid.

Yes I know that one aswell and for me its a very frightning one, because well im deathly afraid of spiders, in all honesty the only movie to scare me ever is arachnophobia. so yes that story is scary because I'm sure its true

Halloweenman666 said...

It was scary growing up, but not necessarily because it was spiders, more because it was spiders in her FACE. Spiders don't really scare me, but you know what does? Eyeballs! So if there are any eyeball urban legends out there keep them to yourself hahaha.

well you inspired me to go find one, and i know youll hate me for this but here it goes

"Its just like from an alien movie be very careful when u get caught with dust...as following pics will show effects of bad dust to a person.

While he was walking he felt an eye irritation, thinking that it was just regualr dust, he started to rub his eye, in an effort to remove the dust.... then his eyes got really red, and he went and bought some eye drops from a pharmacy....few days passed n his eyes were still red and seems a little swollen.

Again he dismissed it as the constant rubbing and that it will go away. The days go by the swelling of his eye got worse, redder and bigger.... till he decided to go and see a doctor for a check up.

The doctor immediately wanted an operation, being afraid of a tumor growth or cyst. At the operation, what was thought to be a growth or cyst, actually turned out to be a live worm..... what was thought initially to be just mere dust actually was an insect's egg......because of that, my friends, if u do get caught in dust, and the pain persists, pls go see a doctor immediately...... thank you...."
